DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to)
Internal and external releases on
promotions, new products
Arrange bi-annual meetings with
supplier companies
Routine check on supplier company commitments in the group
Provide support for the franchise stores
Generate content for the website, social media, and in-store promotions.
Report to the Directors on a weekly basis
Market and competitor research as advised by senior management and basic market related research. (Keep up with trends)
Conceptualization and execution of any brand activation events.
Copywriting
Management of the Group’s social media and website by working closely with the web developer and graphic designer.
Use radio, print and social media to promote the brand and promote sales
Negotiation with suppliers to provide the marketing budget
Work closely with the debtors
department to ensure that suppliers are invoiced and payments are made
Must initiate sale-out campaigns with the suppliers
Work hand in hand with procurement for knowledge of new products, and
products to be sold
Liaison with the operations manager on the staff incentive program
Provide brand management support (CSI, corporate events, etc)
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
Marketing / Journalism /
Communications / Public Relations National Diploma or Degree with 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
Excellent command of the English language (verbal, written)
Computer Literate – proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and outlook)
Knowledge of WordPress
Confident and outgoing personality with good people / customers

Grade 12
Computer literate
Attention to detail
Able to work under pressure/meet deadlines
Able to work in a team
Accuracy and numerical ability
Previous receiving/retail/fmcg experience
